An hour of sun
Who sees me forever young
A hug, a promise
Tag: sun
Bayou
The orange sun drifts
In the watery mirror
The frogs serenade
Meteorite
Once, a second sun hung in the sky
But she saw that man was lonely
And so, she tore herself asunder into a million stars.
Shards of light made of the hottest, bluest flame
Fell in great arcs of fullness
As if to say, here is my heart;
Carry me in your pocket and know always
That you are loved
Rainy Day
The rain like a spangled veil
Bars the sky from earth
And the earth from sky
The sun plays shadows
And the clouds, shapeless dreams
Until both meet again
Follow
The world is too beautiful
To think of loneliness
When the sun shines high
Embracing all of Earth
And the flowers profess scarlet adoration
And the birds beg for scraps
To feed hungry mouths and line their nests
When even the wind is like a child
Musing your hair and racing away
Singing come follow —
There is love beyond the horizon
