Unrest

My heart has taken
A flight towards greener pastures
And still, it wanders

Residue

I try to clear my mind of troubles
Erase over minute equations on the chalkboard
So much dust gathers in the aftermath
Dusting shirt and pants and shoes
Covering my nose like an imprint
Of my guiltiness
I want, but cannot rid all traces
