Spring Equinox

Happy equinox! A few haiku in honor of the first day of spring:

Green buds lean
into gentle wind
snowdrops awaken

Visible breath
melts into grassy dew
daffodil shoots

Hungry sparrows
gather on the lawn
Instead of my feeder
