Disconnected

pulled away

I don’t feel as if
you quite care anymore

it was you
who wanted the distance
when things got hard

Empty Talk

I envy you
your quiet life
of which I am
no part

we speak in
roundabouts
where events
are always
so-so

an average sum
of which I know neither
your lows
nor
your joys
