Fiction & Poetry Journal of T. Wong

Apart

Your shadow fades with the sun
And the ground which it touched
Now cools with all the earth
Until all that is left
Is a memory

Night Stirring

The cool night breeze
Is a balm that can be compared to no other
The dust and oppressive heat of day removed
A quiet stirring of hopeful dreams
Carrying the scent of somewhere far away
