Seasonal Haiku

arbor rain smells
of chlorophyll and earth
worms and robins
muddied sneakers

a snowflake falls
on an early
snowdrop

lackadaisical:
a chime lounges
on a windless day

elegant trees shed
teardrops of red
and ocher
