Smiling hotair balloon

A smile endures all day long —
more potent than sunshine, rhyme, or song.

Spreading a sprinkling of cheer today
dulls the bitter, gray yesterdays.

Easily enticed is tomorrow golden
to be your everlasting guest
when joy’s beholden.
