Springtime
Sing time
Rhyme time
Fine time
Dallying with a wind chime
New love’s sweet lines —
Lemonade on tongue and cheek
Your first kiss tender
Never meek!

This is great–from the wind chime to lemonade, to the never meek but tender kiss–Wonderful!
Thanks! I’m quite fond of this one and its playfulness. =)
I’m so glad you can say that! Some of my poems I really really like, but I’m timid to say so…maybe I should make a page with my faves?? Hmmm….
I find that most of the poems I like best aren’t popular. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take satisfaction in your own writing (because all the other times, we are wondering if it’s any good). Making a faves page sounds like a great idea! ❤
Yes, I’ve found my faves aren’t the popular ones–wonder why that is? And then I’ll dig into the old files, post one I’m doubtful about–and it gets rave reviews, crazy! Glad you like the “Faves Page” concept–if I do it, it will be interesting to see the reader response.
